As we continue to deal with unprecedented changes brought about by COVID-19, human resources are expected to satisfy demands of employees, now more than ever.
Transitioning from being an administrative force to being part of the company’s forefront, human resources are exploring different strategies to balance the many facets of their job, especially those involving employees.
The question is, who takes care of human resources? Aren’t they employees as well?
Being in uncharted territories calls for more empathy and understanding. Employees should be aware that human resources are trying to navigate their way forward as well. Since we all know what human resources can do for employees, let’s consider a few practices employees can do for human resources.

  1. Extend one’s patience.
    • Since human resources operate with a sense of urgency, oversights happen every now and then. It’s normal. We’re all human. We have to try understanding the volume of work they are dealing with.
  2. Participate more.
    • One strategy of human resources is to come up with fun activities that may serve as a distraction and a way to cope. It helps to meet them halfway by participating as much as possible.
  3. Be a friend.
    • We are all in the same boat. Although it’s not required, showing support through sending a friendly check-up message can make a big difference.

Of course, employee benefits should be met. However, while asking for the necessary resources, it helps to be reminded that another human is involved in the process.[/vc_column_text][vc_raw_html]JTVCRElTUExBWV9VTFRJTUFURV9TT0NJQUxfSUNPTlMlNUQ=[/vc_raw_html][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row disable_element=”yes” shadow_x_offset=”0″ shadow_y_offset=”0″ shadow_blur=”0″ shadow_spread=”0″][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
